The National Mall & Memorial Parks protects some of the older parkland in the National Park System. This leading park maintains some of the country’s most significant minutes in record, offering Tourist with adequate possibilities to respect presidential legacies, respect the bravery of war experts, and enjoy the United States Dedication to independence and equal rights.

When to Visit:
The public may check out the park 24 hours a day. Ranger are on responsibility at the Funeral Sites to respond to questions from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. daily.
For Tourist driving into California, D.C., keep in mind that vehicle parking is limited and can get expensive. Public transit is a great option. However, Road 395 provides accessibility the National Mall and Funeral Park from the South. Road 495, New You are able to Opportunity, Rock Stream and Potomac Parkway, Henry California Funeral Parkway, and the Cottage David Parkway will all offer accessibility from the North. Road 66, U.S. Tracks 50 and 29 offer accessibility from the Western, while U.S. Tracks 50, 1, and 4 offer accessibility from the Eastern.
If you really want to limit your as well as impact, there are many significant bike paths that flow through California, D.C. There are also several City train and bus routes from the suv areas around the city.

There are no charges or allows required to check out the park. However, if you are planning a function, such as a business presentation or would like to get authorization for shooting or photography, the National Mall & Memorial Parks Division of Park Programs does issue 4,000 allows a year for unique use. You will need to apply for a unique permit, which typically costs $50

|Junior Ranger||Kids can pick up an activity book at the Visitor Center and explore the park to earn badges along the way. Once complete, the child will be certified as a Junior Ranger|

|Pets:||Pets are not allowed inside the Washington Monument, the Jefferson, Lincoln, and World War II Memorials, except for guide dogs for visually or hearing-impaired persons. Pets are allowed in the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial if they are leashed. Keep your pet restrained at all times by crating, caging or on a leash no more than six feet in length. Also be sure to respectful of the parks and clean up any waste.|
