When to Visit and How?

The best time to visit Pu Luong Nature Reserve is during the season of rice harvest, i.e. from September to November or from February to May. During this time, weather is delightful and vegetation is lush green.

You can access Pu Luong from both – Mai Chau as well as NinhBinh. Trekkers will get many offbeat trails through va to Pu Luong that are least visited and multiple day trekking can be conducted here. Trekking can be done through villages such as Ban Hang, Ban Sai, Ban Hieu or Ban Kho Muong where you can enjoy an unforgettable homestay.
