Botswana Safari Camps: Chitabe Lediba Camp
Chitabe Lediba Camp is smaller than its sister branch , Chitabe, and is good for small teams or small families. Its two family units have share bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms. All five spacious Meru-style tents are built on raised decks. En-suite bathrooms have outdoor showers with panoramic views of the Delta. The dining area, lounge and pool have a glorious vantage over the small lediba (remnant lagoon that has become a waterhole) after which the camp is named and where multitudes of wildlife come to drink
Game Drives
For this Game drives 4×4 open vehicles are allocated for visit which is accommodate a maximum of seven persons can travel each an outside seat. The camp will give bean bags for you to use to steady your camera while on a game drive.
Sunset/Night Drives
Day Afternoon to evening drives provide opportunities for you to see nocturnal mammals such as civet, genet and bushbabies, as well as owls and perhaps leopard.
Walking Safaris
On request, walking safaris with experience guides offers you the exciting opportunity of coming across big game on foot as well as observing the smaller things you miss when travelling by vehicle.
Birding
The birdlife is excellent and varies throughout the year, depending on water levels and season. They include African hawk-eagle, ground hornbill, scarlet-chested sunbird, red-billed hornbill, gabar goshawk and red-billed francolin.
