Located on a wonderful isle and surrounded by seasonally-inundated floodplains and papyrus swamps, Jacana Camp has five Meru-style camp tents built on brought up wood made patios to accomplish its spectacular opinions of the Okavango Delta. Jacana Camp is set in the Jao Concession, a real wetland place, perfect for the unusual sitatunga and numerous red lechwe. In the dry season, lechwe, tsessebe, hippo, and zebra are frequent, with lion, cheetah and leopard often spotted. Wild animals concentrations in this place of the Delta rely on discharge and quantity, modifying from year to year. Birdlife is abundant; lovers can identify Pel’s fishing-owl as well as Africa and smaller jacanas and other Okavango special offers such as slaty egret and Africa pygmy-goose.
